Yesterday The Husband woke up to balloons, with his babies sporting handmade super dad shirts. He even had a few gifts just waiting to be opened. Our children gave him ingredients for chocolate chip cookies....the other bag was a gift from me, the mother of those same children, his wife ;)Friday night I ran into walmart trying to discretely make my purchases. Naturally, with those intimate gifts in hand I ran into my next door neighbor and her college age daughter....I felt so embarrassed thinking she knows.....as if my wedding band and two sweet babies weren't my first giveaway....
Left: Jett and Wynns Dad Right: Dallas Dad
The little Mister was thrilled about the balloons, The little Miss was more concerned about when she was getting breakfast. After present were opened and sweet babies were fed. I brushed my teeth and announced to The Husband to put on a nice pair of pants because the little Mister and I were taking him out to breakfast. We dropped little Miss Wynn off with her Balloons and french toast...I am pretty sure that at least Jett had a wonderful day!
This morning (actual Fathers day) I woke up to the roar of the vacuum and the smell of cleaning detergent. Kyler smiled at me and said "I thought if I didn't clean everything, it wouldn't get done." I glanced from the mountain of pots and pans waiting to be washed to cheese stick stuck to the wall next to my foot, I was pretty sure that this was his attempt at trying to make me feel guilty .....But how could I do anything but smile and be blissfully happy? My house was being cleaned by a pair of hands that didn't belong to me!! I knew there was a reason I wanted to marry that man and have his babies!! He really is that wonderful!
