There are two things I LOVED about feeling under the weather this weekend, all the wonderful advice you my dear readers and friends gave me to help me get better, thank you it totally worked! And having The Husband home for three whole days...that man is so helpful!... His Mama taught him well. Life is just easier with two set of hands instead of just my one (there was one point at the park today where more than one set of hands would have been super helpful ;) Needless to say I woke up this morning longing for it to be the weekend again!
luckily my sweet cousin posted 25 ways to get out of the mommy rut! I love the first item on her list... Especially since me getting ready this morning involved changing out of my sweat pants into exercise pants. I like to give the illusion that I exercise..ha.
I am pretty sure that the first five days of the week are meant to be enjoyed as well as my beloved weekend. I want to find a rhythm where I feel like we are thriving those first five days instead of merely surviving. My six weeks is nearly up....I have no choice but to put my big girl panties on and make the best of the weekdays. I am the Mama to two sweet babies who deserve a mama that completely enjoys life and not just endures it until Friday rolls around!
My goal this week is to try to look and feel pretty...I wish I could say that it meant wearing pants that buttoned but that would exclude all my maternity jeans and I would be completely pantless ....not a cute look. But I know a shower and some makeup would be good for the ol' self esteem! So this week I am getting head to toe ready everyday...for no other reason then I feel better when my teeth are brushed.

Your comment about being pantless made me laugh. That is me right now too! Though I love sweatpants I actually feel leaps and bounds better when I wear real clothes!
