wreck less in the kitchen: being a domestic goddess

Becoming a Domestic Goddess

I have yet to cook a meal this week that hasn't been
previously frozen...So I wouldn't exactly
say that I have been "wreck less" in the kitchen or really even gone near it for that matter except for a snack break
(that I seem to take quite often!)
But, I did make the time to arrange
a lovely bouquet of flowers! I can not help but look
at them and smile...
It is amazing what they can do to brighten ones spirit it is know
wonder why they sell flowers at hospitals and men buy them for
their "lady friends" when they are in trouble.
Flowers
can not fix problems but they sure do help ;)

As far as me saving my family money I have recently been promoted to keep track of our family budget!
This is a job I do not
take lightly! Below is a picture of the man (doing a fake smile) who
totally wrecks our grocery budget EVERY single month....But I can't
help but love him for that!
We always go
with a list at hand but.....then Kyler will be looking through
the meat section and spot a rack of ribs. I can see him start licking his lips and then look at me with a smile....I have such a hard time saying no to him when it comes to food...to bad he doesn't have the same problem with me!!
After walking in to the grocery store with a mission to buy 5
things
and always leaving with like 35 things You would think
that I would go it alone and save my family a little extra
cash....but here is the thing Kyler actually enjoys grocery
shopping (I hate the florescent lights and would rather be looking in the dessert isle instead of at spices with Ky...so the fact he loves it is somewhat intriguing to me)....that is what we did
the Friday before last
for our HOTT date night...So me being the Domestic
Goddess I am (or trying to become) will have to save
my family some
of the green stuff that we all love so much in
different areas...we made the executive decision that food and entertainment would not take the hit......why deprive ourselves of the simple pleasures in life?

Oh one last thing I decided to set my table every single day
(actually I just keep it set all the time)
.....it kinda gives the illusion
that dinner is coming even when we all very well know that
it probably isn't ;)

I also been sporting workout outfits all day every day...I can't seem to get enough of those
things.....I always feel like I exercised even when I haven't quite got around to it, at lets say
8:00 in the evening.....but Kyler and I have been walking at night.....I loooove those walks
together.
I think we are both starting to crave Summer.

xoxoxo
