{all a baby needs is food, love and maybe something a little frivolous....like a felt watch ;)

My heart would skip a beat every single time I saw a photo of  a big  brother carefully holding his baby sister. Images like those float around pinterest where mothers like myself hopelessly pin it to our boards that we really should title "unrealistic expectations." because I am afraid that is exactly what I had!

When Jen herem came to take the Misses newborn photos I could hardly wait to help recreate the magic I had gone crazy pinning.......except mister Jett was more interested in jumping on the bed than smiling at the camera with his sister proudly in his arms....

So me in all my cleverness decided to put a gummy bear on my newborn daughters ear so in the photo it would look like he was lovingly touching her....genius I know.....except for  unfortunately the mister decided that it would be a lot easier to just grab it with his mouth!! Poor, poor Wynnie totally and completely got headed butted!! 

Naturally she screamed while I panicked and the mister continued to eat his gummy bear.

The moral of the story is I may never have a perfect posed photo of my two little ones..... especially considering the speed I have to take those photos before the Mister decides picking up his baby sister and giver her a little squeeze is a good idea..... but honestly I am kind of hopelessly in love with the ones I do have of them....pinterest worthy or not....and putting gummy bears on a newborn is never a good idea..:) Lessoned learned.
