" I think today was the perfect day!" Was the last thing I said before I kissed my sweet husband and children goodnight.
But how can anything that has to do with hot apple cider, pumpkin wagons, squeaky cheese and cider donuts be anything but perfect? Except, for now I am dieting and not indulging....But after Mister Jetts animated "mmm" after every. single. bite of his delectable treats I am confident it was a perfect night.....Donuts for dinner + super unsafe slide = perfect night for a way to darling of a two year old!
And then there is always the awkward moment when that same two year old suddenly realizes he was born into the wrong family......Darn the luck buddy...haha
We even brought our very favorite little pets to join us at Rowlys Red Barn!
(Thank YOu aunt LeAndra for the darling owl hat!! Miss Wynn wore it well!)
At some point in the evening I realized that my very own twin sister is a shape-shifter....amazing work Candi and Mike!
We went to sleep after a perfect day only to be awoken at 5:00 a.m. on the dot to a very frantic two year old who realized he had left his beloved kitty behind.... after giving Mr. Kitty a mud bath! I felt devastated for him. He was out of sorts for days!!
Part of me felt relieved after the loss of kitty.
After Mr. Kitty went swimming in the lake a few months ago he smelt a little fresh....
as in if you ever touched the kitty your hands smelt
like a old dish rag for the rest of the day.
A mud bath was not going to help Mr. Kitty cause!

Beautiful families! You both look amazing! I love your hat Cate and Candi looks like a glowing mother :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys sure make extremely cute kids. I'm so glad that you share glimpses of your life. It makes me feel like I am not missing out on watching your children grow. Love you.
ReplyDeleteI L-O-V-E this post. The picture sequence of the little mister joining Mike and Candi had me giggling like crazy. So great. ♥
