Santa found us!

We (the adults) waited impatiently  for the children to wake up....after the clocked struck 7:30 a.m. we went and woke them up!!......This morning Jett has been awake since 4:00 a.m. excited to play with all of his new treasures and I think he wanted to see what the big man in red was going to bring for him this morning..

above is by far the prettiest gift that we have ever had under our tree!!! Miss Wynnie was so excited all morning, perfectly happy to roll around and eat wrapping paper. Mister Jett on the other hand wasn't sure why we woke him up and more importantly why he wasn't watching a cartoon (he is a lover of routine) Not the reaction The Husband and I had been envisioning! But soon as his darling cousin Dallas started touching his new bike Jett was in a hurry to point his finger and in a stern voice tell him NO! (do I point my finger at Jett??...I must HA!) From then on we couldn't wipe the grin off his sweet little face. I think it is safe to say it was the best day of his life so far!

Kyler made a prime rib for Christmas Eve dinner. He had been planning it for weeks and friends it didn't disappoint! We are all huge fans of his work! Candi and Mike got fancy with the most exquisite apptizers....cream cheese,peppers and salami has to be a match made in appetizers heaven.

It was magical Christmas! Oh and Candi found out she is having a boy! That was right up there with the best presents ever! The worst present ever was when my friends husband gave me a box with a live mouse in it....

Last night I laid awake reliving all the Christmas from the past. They were all full of traditions heavily sprinkled with Christmas magic. My heart was full of gratitude to my Madre for creating such wonderful memories for  me and her 9 other children. She truly has been the perfect example of gratitude & generosity. I love her for that. I want my children to look back on there Christmas with the same full heart. I say this every year but this might have been "The best Christmas ever!"

I love this time of year and especially our Savior.
