picnics and personalities

The Husband swung open the door and before he even said hello he told me he just took a personality test at work and he needed to know if we were compatible. I nonchalantly  scrolled through answering the questions. I was shocked appalled/offended  with how well it described me. I was compared to Ophlia in Hamlet The Husband was compared to JFK and Michelle Obama. Needless to say according to that little ol' test we weren't a good match. The Husband smiled that beautiful smile of his and said "well we already have two kids together I think we should try to make this work." I not so softly slugged him in the arm.

But today when I called and told The Husband we were going on a picnic for dinner tonight (code for I don't feel like cooking so how does a peanut butter sandwich under a shade tree sound??) And his response was"sounds perfect, should I pick up pizza or fried chicken?" 

We get each other......nothing like fried chicken and pizza to bring someone together ;)
